Another way to admire the splendor of the city, Vancouver Lookout is a large tower 170 meters high. You can go up there using a glass elevator. The panorama is breathtaking, with up to 360° views of the entire city. IF you get to the top, you can eat in the tower restaurant.
5. VanDusen’s Garden
This botanical garden is located south of Vancouver. It occupies 55 hectares of land, and it is one of the most sumptuous gardens in all of North America. You can breathe the fresh air, admire the waterfalls and jets of water, discover more than 7,500 species of plants, and have fun in a hedge maze in an environment reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland.
6. Playland Vancouver
It is Canada’s oldest attraction, but it has undergone major renovations to keep up with new technology. Come with the family to try the exceptional roller coasters and thrill rides. A play area is provided for toddlers.
7. Capilano Bridge
Tourists never miss this bridge suspended in the air over a height of 70 meters of the canyon. This bridge is stable but it moves when there are people, so watch out for vertigo. For more excitement, try the Cliffwalk, a wooded path that juts out into the void.
In short !
I know Vancouver is full of wonders, and this is just a glimpse. But these 7 things are in my opinion the main ones to see/do if you plan to go there. Besides, and by the way, if you go to Canada, don’t forget to apply for your eTA (see here) ! Otherwise, and especially without this electronic visa, you risk being refused entry into Canadian territory, or even worse, being refused boarding during your flight!
And what do you think are the things not to miss in Vancouver?
